Did You Know?

Derry Area Athletic Director Rod Bisi has a number of ties to the baseball program at Derry Area.  Mr. Bisi was a pivotal part of the Trojan 1984 WPIAL championship team.  Bisi holds a number of records as a Trojan baseball player. (see our record book on this website)  After graduating in 1985, Bisi went on to play for the University of Maryland where he had a stellar career as a second baseman.  Upon graduating, Mr. Bisi coached baseball at Derry under Norm Basciano and the late Ned Cecchini.  Rod loves baseball and rarely misses a game.
